"Join the Indian Armed Forces Through JEE Main: Direct Entry to SSB Without NDA Exam!"

In 2026, candidates can leverage their JEE Main scores to apply directly for specific entries into the Indian Armed Forces without taking the NDA written exam. Notably, the Indian Navy’s 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme requires candidates to have a minimum of 70% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in their 12th grade, along with a 50% score in English in either 10th or 12th standard. Since January 2017, a valid JEE Main rank has been mandatory for this entry.
Similarly, the Indian Army’s Technical Entry Scheme (TES) allows candidates who have completed their 10+2 with at least 60% in PCM to apply directly, provided they have appeared for the JEE Main exam. This entry is designed for unmarried male candidates aged between 16.5 and 19.5.
These pathways enable candidates to bypass the traditional NDA written examination and proceed directly to the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview, streamlining the selection process for technical roles within the armed forces.
