MHT-CET or Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai for admissions to first year Engineering and Technology programmes (BE/BTech) and Pharmacy programmes (BPharma/PharmaD) in the state. Being one of the largest exams, more than 3 lakh+ applicants appear for the MHT-CET Exam every year. MAHA CET is considered a relatively tough exam to attempt and it requires meticulous planning and hard work to prepare for it.
This year, the examination will be conducted at various centres across the Maharashtra and outside Maharashtra State by Online mode (Computer Based Test) tentatively from 13rd April, 2020 to 17th April, 2020 and 20th April, 2020 to 23 April, 2020 for PCM and PCB group separately. Candidates will be allotted seats in the different colleges of Maharashtra on the basis of candidates’ results in MHT-CET 2020.

Qualifying Examination |
Candidate must have passed HSC/Class XII exam or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with any one of the subjects – Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical/Vocational subjects. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination (HSC/XII) in 2020 are considered eligible. |

General category candidates should have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks in 12th standard examination & 45% for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates. |
Note: Female candidates are not eligible for a mining engineering course.
Candidates who wish to participate in the examination and admission process will be required to submit the filled application form last by February 29 or with late fees, up to March 7, 2020.
