NEET or National Entrance cum Eligibility Test is an entrance exam for medical courses such as MBBS and BDS in both government and private medicalcolleges. National Testing Agency is the regulatory body that conducts NEET UG Exam every year in various parts of the nation. It's an objective question based (MCQ) entrance exam that is attempted by nearly 12 to 15 lakhs candidates every year. Over 350+ Medical Colleges & 150+ dental colleges accept NEET scores for admission.
There are total numbers of 2400+ exam centres across 155 cities of India and its conducted offline. This year NEET was scheduled for 3rd May, 2020 in 155 cities across India but now it's postponed due to COVID-19. NTA will declare NEET Exam 2020 results after the exams been conducted. Since, the admission to AIIMS and JIPMER will be done through NEET 2020, the number of registrations is expected to see more than 15+ lakh students.

Educational Qualification |
Candidate who have passed the class 12 board exam from science stream. Those appearing for class 12 exam can also apply for NEET 2020. |
Nationality |
Candidate Must be Citizen of India. NRIs, PIOs, OCIs and even Foreign Nationals can apply for NEET |
Age Criteria |
Candidates who are 17 years and above as on the date of admissions or by December 31, 2020 can apply for NEET. There is no Upper Age Limit for appearing in NEET 2020. |
Subjects to be Qualified |
At least Five mandatory subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology, English and an elective subject. |
Number of Attempts |
The maximum number of attempts for NEET has not been directed by the NTA. Candidate can appear for NEET as many times as they want to. |
Marks Eligibility |
50% for General Category, 40% for SC/ ST/ OBC in the Qualifying Exam and 45% marks for Persons with Disabilities. |
